you can’t unsee

Created in June of 2020, this piece was in response to the cultural awakening that was sparked by the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. Using the color palette from Kente cloth found in 90’s clothing, I extended the border of the piece to draw the viewer in to the polysemous statement.
